My Buried Life!

For my final project in my creative writing class we had to make a bucket list! I really enjoyed this project as it let me take the time to write everything I want to do in life! I wrote the entire list in a little booklet that I keep on a desk one day so it will remind me to make the days of my life count! We are so caught up in growing old, and being successful, and relying on other people to make us happy, but we are forgetting that we are selves need to make ourselves happy. That we need to take days out of our schedules for joy and happiness and to do the things we want to do with our lives. Although life is the longest thing you will endure, if you don't spend it happy, you will realize how short it really can feel.

Now What??
So now what, I have this huge list with only 2 things crossed off!
Well for starters once my hours at work start getting higher I am going to start paying my parents back for my car, once that is done I will get to cross "Own my own car" off the list.
Than I have throw a surprise party I am starting to plan a surprise this year for someone that is special to me, and the theme may be a masquerade theme. That's two more items! Than next year I am going on the Europe trip where I will hopefully get to cross off a number of items! For that I just have to save up for!
To cross everything off, I just have to remember to keep this list in mind, to not rush life, and to sit back, relax and enjoy every single day, even if all I do that day is sit on the couch and watch movies all day. We all need to just enjoy life and once we enjoy life opportunities will arise that we never would have realized!

  2. I love that you already have plans to complete many of the things on your list. That's awesome! I think it shows that you're really dedicated to actually doing all the things on your list. It didn't seem like there was anything on there that you were halfhearted about, which was cool to see.
